Kuwaiti Emir Nawaf Meets With Al Sissi

Kuwaiti media and an Egyptian presidential official reported that Egyptian ' President Abdul Fattah al Sissi arrived in Kuwait on Tuesday to discuss relations with Emir Nawaf Al Ahmed.

Kuwaiti Crown Prince Meshal Al Ahmad welcomed Egyptian President upon his arrival.

Bassam Radi, a spokesman for the Egyptian presidency, said remarks by Egyptian President al-Sisi focused on expanding ties between the two nations, particularly in security, economics, and development.

In addition to consultations and coordination on regional and international issues of mutual concern, the summit included Egyptian-Kuwaiti participation, he said.

A tripartite meeting between the presidents of Algeria and Kuwait may also be scheduled for Tuesday in Kuwait, according to Kuwaiti media. A summit of the Arab League is scheduled for Algeria later this year.
