Kuwaiti Citizen Refused To Pay Tuition Fees For Mathematics Teacher

An Egyptian mathematician sought police intervention when a Kuwaiti citizen refused to pay the agreed tuition fees for a private Mathematics class for his son who is poor in the subject, reports Al-Rai daily.

The teacher lodged a complaint at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Police Station, explaining that he had reached an agreement with the citizen to offer private lessons to his son eight hours a week. However, the citizen told him to increase the number of hours to ten in five days.

On this basis, the teacher demanded the wages of the 60 unpaid hours which the citizen refused to pay. He provided police with the text messages exchanged between them that ascertain his claims. Police obtained the details of the citizen and have summoned him to either solve the problem amicably or to register a case against him.
