Kuwaiti Citizen Filed A Case Against An Individual Who Abused Him

A Kuwaiti citizen filed a case at Ardiya Police Station against an unknown individual who abused him and threw his shoes at him. Investigations were launched. In another development, supporters of the Egyptian National Football Team in Kuwait were prevented from blocking roads in Hawalli governorate after the team’s overwhelming victory over Morocco in the African Nations Cup quarter-final match played on Sunday.

Two Egyptians were arrested by security operatives for jubilating on the road. Hawalli Security Chief  deployed a team of officers to prevent a gathering of members of the Egyptian community at the commercial complexes and coffee shops in the governorate. He noted a crowd of jubilant Egyptian football supporters seen in the video circulating on social media was made just after the match, indicating no gatherings were allowed on roads, as per orders from the Director of Hawalli Security Directorate.
