Kuwaiti authorities cracked down on government employees caught tampering with fingerprint scanners.

The Criminal Court found 34 employees guilty of forgery, rejecting their plea for acquittal. Verdicts are yet to be announced.

The convicted staff allegedly supplied a colleague with plastic fingerprints and asked him to sign in and out of work everyday on behalf of them, in exchange for a sum of money.
