Kuwaiti Arrested For Running 3 Fake Accounts On Twitter

A Kuwaiti citizen has been arrested for running three fake accounts on Twitter and publishing offensive posts, reports Aljarida daily.

According to sources, when the concerned security authorities received information about the offensive posts published from some accounts on Twitter, they sent a request to the Twitter office for details about the owners of these accounts.

Twitter cooperated with the security authorities and provided them with the name and email address of the accounts’ owner who turned out to be a Kuwaiti citizen. After searching and finding him, a number of State Security and other kinds of cases were filed against him. He has been referred to the Public Prosecution for necessary legal action.
