Kuwaiti Army Takes Part In Military Drills In Jordan

The Kuwaiti Army, represented by the Amiri Guards, took part in the Jordanian military exercise "Shields of Al-Nashama 2" for security and protection.

The exercises included shooting from various types of weapons, protection operations, storming and evacuating buildings, and using motorcades' vehicles and helicopters to evacuate important personalities in danger or under attack, according to the Army's Chief of the General Staff command in a press release on Sunday.

Attendees commended the personnel's top combat performance and efforts to achieve maximum readiness, and certificates and memory shields were presented to the participants at the conclusion of the exercise, according to the report.

Major General Hamad Al-Saleh of Kuwait's Amiri Guard, General Abdullah Shdeifat of Jordan's Armed Forces and Arab Army Assistant for Operations and Training, and Colonel Hamad Al-Jaafrah of the Royal Guard all participated in the training. -KUNA
