Kuwaiti And A Bedoun Car Thieves Held

The Criminal Sector of the Hawalli Governorate Security Investigation Department has arrested a gang of thieves headed by two men – a Kuwaiti and a bedoun – who specialized in stealing vehicles, reports Al-Anba daily. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, the arrest came after receiving numerous reports of thefts particularly of refrigerator vehicles which are used to transport foodstuffs and most of the time they are left with engine running.

After monitoring the crime scene and collecting information one of the main suspects was taken into custody and when confronted with evidence, he admitted to the charge and gave police the name and hideout of his accomplice. After the two were arrested, police took into custody several other men and they admitted to committing 13 such thefts.
