Kuwait Won Gold Medal In The Egyptian Open National Archery Championship 2019

Kuwait’s archery delegation participated in the Egyptian Open National Archery Championship 2019 as part of the activities of the World Archery Federation (2019) involving national teams from Kuwait and Zimbabwe, in addition to 366 archers representing clubs and Egyptian institutions.

 

Kuwait managed to win gold medal in the Mixed International Teams category through Abdullah Al-Harbi with the participation of Daliya Muhammad, and another gold through Bader Al-Shallahi involving Rebecca Minbar from Zimbabwe and Dhiyaa Salaam of Egypt, whereas Salem Saeedi won silver involving Bahaa Ali (Egypt), and Chelsea Hantar (Zimbabwe).

The team led by Fahad Al-Rashidi won third place in individual compound archery, whereas Abdullah Taha came fourth in the Olympic Archery category after a strong challenge with African archery champion Bahaa al-Deen that ended at 6/4.
