Kuwait Will Receive New Batch Of Coronavirus Vaccines This Week

Kuwait will receive a new shipment of coronavirus vaccine this week, Health Minister Sheikh Dr. Basil Al-Sabah said, Al Qabas daily reported.

Al-Sabah added in a tweet that successive shipments will continue to arrive during the coming months until all citizens and residents are vaccinated against coronavirus.

The first shipment of the Pfizer vaccine against the Covid-19 arrived at Kuwait Airport on December 23.

On December 24, Kuwait launched a vaccination campaign against the emerging coronavirus at the Kuwait Vaccination Center, Hall No. 5, in the International Fairgrounds in Mishrif district. During the initial phase, the elderly and front-line workers are being vaccinated in the vaccination hall.
