Kuwait Will Achieve 70% Vaccination Within Two Month

Kuwait is close to achieving community immunity, and is likely to complete vaccination of 70% of the population within two months, provided more doses of approved vaccines arrive the country.

Health authorities have gone a long way in controlling the epidemic and has resulted in a decline in worrying indicators and an increase in positive indicators. This indicate the probability of gradually opening activities in coming weeks that have been suspended for long.

The rates of recovery from the virus compared to the size of daily infections reached 93.8% on April 27, compared to 93% on March 27, 2021. It was 93.8% at the end of February 2021, and 95.6% at the end of January 2021. 97.5% at the end of December 2020, and 95.4% by the end of November 2020.

Authorities stressed the need to continue wearing masks and keeping a safe distance with others and washing hands.
