Kuwait University Declares Producing Effective Drug Against Vitiligo

Kuwait University, namely the patents bureau, has declared producing medicine for treating vitiligo. Dr. Salman Al-Sabah, the assistant deputy rector for research cooperation, said in a statement on Tuesday that the production and marketing patent accord was recently inked for the Kuwaiti teacher and researcher Mohammad Al-Ansari.

On January 19, a deal for the production of the medicine was linked with a Dutch company for distributing the drug in international markets this year. Dr. Al-Sabah said the drug ingredients include a mixture of plant-extracted materials that activate the melanin cells and others that have anti-oxidation effects,
