Kuwait To Witness Very Cold Weather At Night On Weekend, Frost In Desert
The Kuwait Meteorological Department said that the country’s weather on Thursday will be moderate, with southeasterly winds turning to northwesterly light to moderate, with speeds ranging between 15 and 50 kilometers per hour, causing dust. Weather forecast observer at the administration, Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, added in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the expected maximum temperatures range between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate, with waves sometimes rising between 2 and 6 feet.
Al-Qarawi explained that the weather tonight is witnessing a noticeable decrease in temperatures, with cold to very cold and partly cloudy weather, with prevailing northwesterly light to moderate winds, active at intervals on coastal areas ranging between 12 and 45 kilometers per hour, with a chance of frost forming on agricultural and desert areas. The expected minimum is between 3 and 5 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate, with waves sometimes rising between 2 and 6 feet. On Friday’s weather, he stated that it will be cold and partly cloudy to cloudy, with northwesterly light to moderate winds, with speeds ranging between 8 and 30 kilometers per hour, and expected maximum temperatures between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate, with waves in height between 1 and 3 feet.
He pointed out that the weather tomorrow at night will be cold to very cold, with light to moderate northwesterly variable winds, with speeds ranging between 6 and 32 kilometers per hour, with a chance of frost forming on agricultural and desert areas and the appearance of some scattered clouds and the expected minimum temperature between 2 and 4 degrees. The sea will be light to moderate, and the height will be between 1 and 4 feet.
Al-Qarawi said that the weather on Saturday during the day will be cold and partly cloudy to cloudy, and the winds will change direction to northwesterly, light to moderate, with speeds ranging between 6 and 28 kilometers per hour, with a chance of scattered light rain, and the expected maximum temperatures ranging between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius. The sea will witness light to moderate waves and a height of between 1 and 3 feet. He pointed out that the weather on Saturday night will be cold to very cold and partly cloudy, with variable winds in the direction of light to moderate northerly, with speeds ranging between 8 and 26 kilometers per hour, and the expected minimum temperature between 1 and 3 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate waves and heights between 1 and 3 feet.
