Kuwait To Tests Expats For Skills And Knowledge Before Issuing A Visa

As part of a plan to reform the demographic imbalance, the Director-General of Kuwait's Public Authority for Manpower, Dr. Mubarak Al-Azmi, said the same will be done in cooperation with Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) for related professions to ensure that the applicant has good skills and knowledge about the job he is applying for.

According to Al Qabas, the KSE will conduct the tests for new arrivals first and then for those wanting to renew their work permits inside the country.

According to sources, the tests will be a condition for renewal, issuance, and renewal of work permits, and in the event of failure, the person will be given a grace period.
