Kuwait To Renovate Al-zour Power Plant

Kuwait’s Minister of Oil and Minister of Electricity and Water Bkheet Al-Rashidi signed a deal worth KD 20 million ($60 million) on Sunday to refurbish units in the country’s southern “Al-Zour” power station.

The contract entails complete renovations to the power plant, where all equipment would be upgraded to ensure maximal energy efficiency, read a statement by the ministry of oil and electricity. The statement also put a 60-month time frame on the contract.
