Kuwait To Receive Vaccine After International Accreditation

10 December 2020 Kuwait

Ministry of Health said that Kuwait will not receive the vaccine or start vaccinating citizens before the vaccine gets approval from international health organizations, especially the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). reports Al-Rai daily.

With Britain beginning to give the Pfizer/Biontec vaccine against Covid 19 to the most vulnerable people, and Canada yesterday given the green light for the vaccine, the sources clarified that Kuwait is awaiting the official approval of the Pfizer/Biontech vaccine from the FDA, before receiving its agreed-upon share(which is 150,000 doses in 2020 and 850,000 in 2021).
