Kuwait Stops Issuing Domestic Worker Visa To Indian Female Domestic Workers

Kuwait stops issuing domestic worker visa to Indian female domestic workers. The ban on issuing domestic visa to Indian women is already is in action. However Kuwait will continue to issue domestic visa to male workers from India.
Earlier Indian had imposed a bank guarantee of KD 720 for female domestic workers coming to Kuwait.

Due to the strong protest from Kuwaiti authorities Indian later suspended the bank guarantee for female domestic workers, while keeping in abeyance the attestation of employment contracts of Indian female domestic workers. However Indian female domestic workers continue to enter Kuwait through other means. Due to this India had requested Kuwait to stop issuing domestic visa for female workers from India.
