Kuwait Reports 5,742 New Covid -19 Cases

Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Health announced that 5,742 new cases of the emerging coronavirus (Covid 19) were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 508372.

4,856 cases of recovery were recorded, bringing the total number of people recovered to 459,655, indicating that the percentage of total cases of recovery out of the total infections amounted to 90.4 percent.

Al-Sanad explained that a death was recorded as a result of the infections bringing the total number of registered cases to 2488.

He stated that the number of those receiving medical care in the intensive care departments amounted to 68 cases, while the total number of cases that were confirmed to be infected and are still receiving the necessary care reached 46,229, and the total number of cases in (Covid 19) wards reached 398.

He added that the number of swabs that were carried out Conducted during the same period amounted to 29,164, bringing the total of examinations to 6,718,482, indicating that the percentage of infections for the number of these swabs amounted to 19.7 percent.
