Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Is Kuwait's Most Valuable Brand
After being named as the most valuable brand in Kuwait in 2022 and ninth in the Middle East, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation entered the yearly assessment prepared by the international company "Brand Finance" for the first time.
According to the rationale on which the classification was founded, the worth of the KPC brand was valued at the equivalent of $4 billion, according to a local Arabic daily. Despite the large fall in oil demand during the second half of 2020 and most of 2021, "Brand Finance" observed in its analytical analysis that "KPC" was able to sustain its brand value amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to the sources, the firm had long-term intentions to grow its production volume from 2.5 million barrels per day to 4.75 million barrels per day by 2040, in a gradual increase from the current level of 2.5 million.
Reaching this objective level, according to Brand Finance, a prominent consultancy in the field of brand valuation would secure the KPC's brand strength in the global oil market.
Due to a number of factors, including the fact that the value of Saudi Aramco's shares climbed by 16 percent in the past year despite global volatility, the Saudi Aramco brand remained the most valuable in the Gulf and the Middle East.
The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Qatar National Bank, the Saudi "Maaden" company, and the UAE "Etisalat" company were placed second to fifth in the Gulf and the Middle East, respectively.
It's worth noting that the "Brand Finance" firm examines hundreds of the largest Middle Eastern brands in a variety of sectors and countries every year.
The KPC's ranking was part of a final list of 150 brands deemed the most valuable in the region by "Brand Finance" for the year 2022.
