Kyrgyzstan will host on Sunday the upcoming Third World Nomad Games with the participation of 60 countries including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

The tournament is held under the supervision of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) on the banks of Issyk-Kul, the largest lake in the world.

The games will feature around 37 competitions including horse riding, folklore wrestling, and more.

Exhibitions, cultural events, and sideline conferences will take place with Kuwait participating in the games’ cultural pavilions.

Kyrgyzstan Ambassador Samargyul Adamkulova said in previous statements to KUNA that the games aimed at promoting her country to the world.

The games will hopefully stimulate tourism and invite more investors as well as athletes to the country, said the diplomat.

The World Nomad Games was first held in 2014 in Kyrgyzstan with the participation of 500 individuals. The second incarnation, also in Kyrgyzstan, saw the participation of 1,200 athletes and executives from 37 nations.

The Third World Nomad Games will gather 3,000 participants from 60 countries
