Kuwait Municipality Launched Campaigns To Remove Transgressions On State Properties

The Public Relations and Media Department of Kuwait Municipality revealed that emergency teams of Capital Municipality launched several campaigns to remove transgressions on state properties in Jaber Al-Ahmad Block 6 and North-West Sulaibikhat Block 2 areas, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

The campaigns resulted in the issuance of 221 citations and removal of 108 violating properties, which included iron and wooden fences or walls and tents. Also, two shops in Mubarakiya area were closed down due to similar violations. The department revealed about another intensive campaign to be held next Monday with full support of security forces from Ministry of Interior. In another development, the Municipal Services Inspection and Followup Department of Jahra Municipality launched an inspection campaign on commercial shops that are in violation of advertisement regulations. During the campaigns, 27 citations were issued including 12 for displaying unlicensed advertisements, nine for adding unlicensed advertisements, four for non-renewal of advertisements and two for not putting an identification advertisement.
