Kuwait Municipality Does Not Intend To Remove Any Diwaniyas Built In Front Of Citizens Houses

Kuwait Municipality does not intend to remove any diwaniyas built in front of citizens’ houses, reports Al-Rai daily quoting a reliable source from the Municipality. He denied the rumors circulating on social media about the launch of field campaigns to remove the diwaniyas, affirming that no instructions or decisions have been issued in this regard.

The source revealed that the Municipality teams are working on removing all encroachments on state properties and structures that hinder traffic and obscure vision, adding that very few diwaniyas were found to be in violation, and most of them were attached to the houses or were approved by the neighbors.
