Kuwait Municipality Closes 14 Shops In July

Kuwait municipality declared Sunday that it has closed more than 14 shops due to violating COVID-19 safety measures in July. The director of Ahmadi municipality’s branch, Saoud Al-Dabbous, said in press release that it issued more than 128 violations and 280 warnings to several shops, markets and groceries in order to comply with all decisions by the Ministry of Health (MOH).

He also stated monitoring teams have lifted many abandoned cars and containers. Moreover, cleaning teams have washed and sterilized 153,987 containers of various sizes, he added.
