Mpw Looking At Proposals, Solutions To End Car Parking Problem Of Staff
The Ministry of Public Works (MPW) is considering several proposals and solutions to the problem of staff car parks in the ministry building to end the daily sufferings of the staff due to shortage of parking spaces, similarly to the problem faced by Ministry of Electricity and Water employees who have complained of overcrowding and work delays especially since they have to mark their attendance with fingerprint unlike before, reports Al- Jarida daily.
Sources familiar with Al- Jarida pointed out that the ministry is studying several solutions to the problem of parking lots, including the establishment of intelligent multi-role parking, which can take advantage of the current areas in the alignment of several cars in the same parking of the ministry, especially with the spread of those parks in some Arab countries and their success.
The sources pointed out that the proposals also shaded the external arena in front of the ministry, which accommodate large numbers of visitors daily, noting that the proposal “flexible time” has become one of the solutions that imposes itself on the ministries for not registering employees as absent due to delay.
Inventory
On the other hand, the sources pointed out that the financial and administrative sector in the ministry is currently completing the inventory and identification of employees eligible for excellent business reward for the fiscal year 2018/2019 expected to be disbursed in June.
The sources also pointed out that the amounts allocated to cover the reward about 6 million dinars, an increase of 1.5 million dinars from the previous fiscal year and the increase comes to provide the required amounts for new appointees and changes in the functional staff, including promotions.
It is also reported that the ministry is committed to all the instructions and regulations of the Civil Service Commission which regulates the disbursement of the bonus, based on years of experience and qualification, attendance and departure rates during the fiscal year and good conduct.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Finance has made several amendments to the budget of the Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW) to enable it to close its accounts for the fiscal 2018/2019 because MEW faces problems to close the account, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting sources.
The sources said that MEW had demanded to enhance the allocations worth 27.6 million dinars, in order to cover the salaries of its employees until the end of March 2019, and the finance ministry approved it despite the violation of the ministry to the circulars of the Ministry of Finance on the closing of the final accounts and the terms of the amendment between the budget items.
