Kuwait is celebrating its landmark civil aviation strides over 90 years, in a national odyssey which started in the 1920’s, reports KUNA.

Air traffic flourished over the following decades, which eventually led to establishing an aviation school and club in 1953 and the national carrier, Kuwait Airways Corporation, in 1954.

As part of the 'Kuwait 2035' vision, terminal-2 of Kuwait International Airport is expected to be ready in 2022 with a 25-million-passenger capacity, in order to contribute in the state's developmental plan.
