Locust Victims Seek Compensation

The Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) has set up a committee to receive complaints from farmers whose farms were devastated by the desert locusts, reports Al-Jarida daily quoting sources familiar with the issue. The sources said PAAAFR is studying all cases individually and will consider the possibility of compensation. The same sources said the authority until now has received more than 16 requests for material compensation.
