Kuwait Lists 103 New Covid-19 Cases, One Death

Kuwait’s daily coronavirus cases rose by 103 to 410,270 as deaths increased by one to 2,423, the health ministry said on Saturday.

Another 187 people were cured of the virus, raising the total of those to have overcome the disease to 405,770 people, according to ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdallah Al-Sanad in a statement.

The number of people hospitalized with the virus at COVID-19 wards is 131, with 59 of them in intensive care units, he added, revealing that another 2,077 are receiving regular treatment.

He went on to urge nationals and expatriates alike that abiding by health precautions, mainly, following social distancing rules, is the only way to halt the spread of the virus.
