Kuwait Keen On Worker’s Safety During Scorching Summer

Kuwait Public Authority for Manpower’s (PAM) ban of laborers from working in open areas in scorching daytime summer is a commitment by the State of Kuwait to international agreements and standards, which aimed at protecting workers.

PAM teams have been visiting construction sites to make sure contractors were abiding by the ban, which begins on June 1 until August 31, as stipulated by resolution 535 (2015). The ban, which started at 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., aimed at guaranteeing the safety of workers during harsh weather conditions.
