The statistical summary on population statistics for the period between 2015 and 2019, issued by the Statistical Center of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, affiliated to the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council States, stated that the population pyramid in the Arab Gulf states has a narrow base, as it forms the population group less than 15 years old. Males in Kuwait make up 61.5% of the total population, which is a high percentage that placed Kuwait in fourth place among the GCC countries, as according to the report, it relies heavily on bringing in this category, which is without families due to the nature of the business that is often concentrated in infrastructure projects. .

The center indicated that the population pyramid has expanded significantly for age groups between 15 and 64 years, reaching 75.4%, while the numbers of males in these groups are not at a level of similarity with the numbers of females for reasons related to the composition of the expatriate workforce and the development projects offered.

Expatriate workers 56.3% Expatriate workers occupy the largest percentage of the age group between 25 and 54 years, at a rate of 56.3%, while the age group of 65 years or higher is decreasing due to the small number of individuals in general, and the small number of expatriates in particular, as they constitute 2.8%, and the majority of them are citizens of the GCC countries
