Kuwait Is Among The Countries That Improve The Most In The Information And Communication Index

The International Telecommunication Union ranked Kuwait in the Information and Communication Technology Regulatory Tracker Tool Index issued in 2020 in the list of the most improved countries in this regard, as it rose by 27 degrees since 2016.

The Communications and Information Technology Commission said in a statement today that the sector itself has witnessed remarkable development and as a result of this classification The country has been upgraded from the second generation of telecommunications regulation to the third generation in the list of most improved countries.

It stated that as a result of this classification, the country’s classification increased from 70/100 in 2018 to 74/100 in 2019, in order to achieve the authority’s vision of providing the optimal environment to help decision-makers and regulators to understand the rapid development of information and communication technology, as well as achieving the overall goal of the technology sector.
