Kuwait Introduces New Fees On Government Services

Kuwait’s Minister of Trade and Industry Faisal Al Medlej issued a decision imposing new fees on services provided by the Public Authority for Manpower, Al Qabas daily reported.

According to the daily, fees ranging from 1 dinar to 10 dinars will be imposed on 7 transactions.

As per the new decision, issuing a status statement certificate for the worker and a certificate of employment will cost 1dinnar each.

Issuing a signature approval certificate for the employer’s file will cost 5 dinars.

The decision specified a fee of 10 dinars for each of the issuance or renewal of work permits for citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and bidoons.
