Kuwait International Airport Has Resumed Normal Air Traffic

Following a dust storm that hit Kuwait this afternoon, DGCA announced Monday that traffic in Kuwait International Airport resumed at 5:50 pm local time. Traffic was halted for nearly two hours and a half following the dust storm.

According to DGCA Deputy DG for Air Navigation Services Affairs, Emad Al-Juluwi, arrivals and departures have been rescheduled.

Dust storms affected the weather in the country, causing visibility to fall below 500 meters in some areas, along with strong winds reaching more than 60km/h.
