Kuwait Expat Deported After Meeting With Housemaid

In Kuwait, a newspaper reported, a man who was caught meeting a housemaid in her sponsor's home would face deportation.

Having been sent to the administrative deportation directorate by the chief of security in Al Farwaniya governorate in preparation for his expulsion, Al Anba reported.

Police received a report from a Bidoon (stateless) resident reporting the expat had been caught in his house after he had entered there illegally, a security source said.

The man was handcuffed when police arrived at the house. They discovered he was living there illegally.

He revealed he wanted to meet the domestic helper when he was asked about his presence in the house. His age and nationality were not disclosed.

The overall population of Kuwait is around 4.6 million, of which almost 3.5 million are foreigners.
