Kuwait Embassy In New Delhi Distributes Ramadan Food Kits

Kuwait Embassy in New Delhi announced on Tuesday that it has distributed food kits to many families in different states in the holy month of Ramadan under the supervision of Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation.

In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Kuwait Embassy in New Delhi said that it distributed around 1,660 food kits to the needy people in different Indian states in cooperation with several Indian charity organizations. Ambassador Jassem Al-Najem thanked Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation and the generous people of Kuwait for extending a helping hand to the poor and needy in India at this time as the country is passing through difficult circumstances due to the devastating COVID-19 pandemic.

This annual philanthropic project of Kuwait carried out in different parts of the world emphasizes the humanitarian role of Kuwait and its people, and embodies the meanings of giving.
