Kuwait Customs Foil Bid To Smuggle Cigarettes Into Saudi Arabia

Customs officers at the Nuwaiseeb border post are said to have foiled the attempt of an unidentified person to smuggle 150 cigarette cartons into Saudi Arabia, reports Annahar daily. According to a customs source the cigarettes were found hidden under the seats of the car. During interrogation, the passenger said he intended to sell the cigarettes on the black market in Al-Khafji for a huge profit. The contraband and the car have been referred to the concerned authority.
