Kuwait Arrivals Into Uk Still Have To Be Quarantined
The Kuwaiti embassy in the United Kingdom rubbished rumors that the British government has canceled quarantine for arrivals from several countries, including Kuwait. The embassy announced in a press statement that the circulation on fake news on social media regarding the cancellation of the 14-day quarantine for arrivals is incorrect, and pointed out that the British government is only considering a reduction in quarantine days without mentioning their duration.
Kuwaiti citizens interested to travel to the United Kingdom have to go through a mandatory quarantine for 14 days until the British authorities announce the cancellation or reduction of the quarantine, states the embassy.
The British government is currently working in cooperation with private companies to look into a solution for rapid test center for coronavirus at Heathrow Airport on a paid basis as an alternative to the mandatory quarantine of travelers coming to the country. On June 8, the British government started a mandatory quarantine for travelers from most countries of the world for a period of two weeks, as a measure to limit the spread of the Coronavirus while Britain tackles its own coronavirus crisis.
