Kuwait And Saudi Arabia Lead In Projects

Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, according to a survey released by Trade Arabia Magazine, top the USD 1.6 trillion Gulf project industry, with over 21,000 active projects as of the third quarter of 2021. According to the Projects Journal BNC, which specialized in project monitoring, these projects get their impetus mostly from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, which dominated the scene of project execution, says Al-Anba daily.

According to the periodical's article, "2022 – The Green Year," building activity in Kuwait increased dramatically in the fourth quarter of 2021, with new projects worth USD 9.9 billion being announced, making it the strongest quarter in the previous two years.

In that quarter, Kuwait was able to grant contracts for USD 1.8 billion and finish projects worth USD 12 billion.
