Kuwait Allocates Plane To Fly Injured Omani Fans Home

Kuwait has allocated a private plane to fly wounded Omani fans, along with their families and relatives, home after completing their medical treatment.

The allocated flight was announced following directives from Prime Minister Shaikh Jaber Al-Mubarak who visited the injured fans under the treatment at the hospital, accompanied by Deputy Premier, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Khaleeji 23 Organizing Committee Chairman Anas Al-Saleh.

47 supporters were wounded after a glass barrier at the Shaikh Jaber International Stadium broke during celebrations following Oman’s Gulf Cup win over the UAE.
