30,000 Expats Have Left Kuwait Since May 1

The overall number of expatriates living and working Kuwait dropped by 30,000 since the beginning of this month (May 2019).

According to daily statistics released by the Public Authority of Civil Information’s (PACI), the total number of citizens stands at 1,412,264 making up 29.7 percent  (29.1%) of the population, Kuwait Times reported.

Meanwhile, the overall number of expats stands at present at 3,333,027, which represents 70.3 percent of the total population of which stands at 4,745,291.
