Kse The Only Body Given The Right To Accredit Certificates Of Engineers

The Kuwait Municipality and the Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) will join hands via the electronic linking process to complete the accreditation of transactions of engineers who show desire to work in the private sector. This is in addition to making the KSE the only body to accredit certificates of engineers.

Al-Jarida quoting the president of the society Eng Faisal Al-Atl, said after a meeting with the Director-General of the Municipality, Eng. Ahmed Al-Manfouhi at the Municipality headquarters appreciated the coordination between both institutes because of the distinguished role and professional achievement of the municipality’s director, and the nod given for the KSE as the only testing body for engineers wishing to work in the consulting and engineering field in the private sector.

Al-Atl pointed out that this decision complies with the regulations to practice the engineering profession approved by the Kuwait Municipality and the decisions regulating engineering-consulting work for those who are interested to submit it to the Kuwait Municipality.

He added the municipality’s approach to mechanization is witnessing a remarkable transformation, and that the association is fully prepared to support it and limit any human interference in completing the engineers’ accreditation, stressing that it was agreed with Al-Manfouhi to communicate directly through two liaison officers between the association and the Municipality to put this project into implementation.
