Kpc Denies Rumors About Cooperation On Providing Jordanians With Oil Sector Jobs
Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) and its subsidiaries denied rumors spread on social media that they cooperated with the Jordanian Ministry of Labor to grant job opportunities for citizens of the Kingdom of Jordan in the Kuwaiti oil sector provided they hold university, diploma and high school certificates.
In a press statement, KPC clarified it has never coordinated with the Ministry of Labor n Jordan to grant employment opportunities for Jordanians as it follows certain procedures for announcing vacancies. The corporation said job vacancies are announced through its official website and local daily newspapers.
The corporation also reiterated that it is fully committed to the implementation of the decision to stop hiring expatriates, as well as to sign contracts in line with the State’s general policy and its firm belief that relying on young national workers is better for the Kuwait oil sector.
KPC and its subsidiaries called on everyone to ignore malicious rumors spread on social media platforms and verify news through official channels
