Knpc To Build 19 New Gas Stations

The Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) will start to construct 19 new gas stations as a first batch out of the 100 stations it plans to build in the coming years to meet the urban expansion in the new residential areas.

According to report, the Kuwait Municipality has granted 63 sites to KNPC to build stations, and 37 sites have been granted by the Public Authority for Housing Welfare. 

“Forty-two stations shall be established in Jahra, 18 of them in AlMutla’a City alone. Ahmadi will have 21 new stations; five of them will be built on the Seventh Ring Road and 6 other stations on the road between Sabah Al Ahmad Residential City and Al Khairan City.

In the Farwaniya Governorate, the Municipality and the Public Authority for Housing Welfare has approved to allocate a land for building 9 stations in Al-Andalus, Al-Reqe’i, Al-Firdous and Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and 5 stations in West Abdullah AlMubarak area.

The Capital Governorate shall have 15 stations of the total, with a station in Bneid Al-Gar, Nuzha, Keifan, Shuwaikh, and Yarmouk, South Sulaibikhat and the Fifth Ring Road, two stations in Failaka and a station in the Doha area.
