Knpc Inaugurates Temporary Fuel Station In Mahboula

22 April 2020 Coronavirus

The Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) announced Tuesday the opening of a temporary fuel station in the isolated Al-Mahboula area to serve its residents in light of the special precautions taken by the government recently to protect them from the coronavirus spread.

In a statement to KUNA, KNPC said that the inauguration of the station bearing the number (502) comes as the company keen to contribute to the collective efforts undertaken by the relevant authorities in the country to help tackle the virus spread in the area.

The company reiterated that all the preventive measures were adopted to ensure the safety of the station’s customers and workers alike, indicating that work at the station stops during the scheduled curfew hours.

On April 6, the Kuwaiti Cabinet imposed a complete isolation for the areas of Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Al-Mahboula, based on the decision of the health authorities to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
