31 July 2017 Crime News

Kuwait Medical Association (KMA) held the Fatwa and Legislation Department and the National Assembly responsible for the attack on doctors, and the consequences of these apparent attacks, reports Al-Rai daily.

Secretary General of the association Dr Mohamed Al-Qena’i said, “Condemnation is no longer useful. Solution came out of our hands and is now in the hands of the Fatwa and Legislation Department and the National Assembly”.

He stressed that attacks on doctors in other Gulf countries are very rare and not a widespread phenomenon like the case in Kuwait, indicating that doctors in other countries are greatly respected and appreciated and that their counterparts in Kuwait are not less than them.

Dr Al-Qena’i expressed hope for cooperation with Ministry of Interior to implement temporary solutions until the law on the protection of doctors is passed.
