Kisr Plans To Issue A 5.1 Million Dinars Tender

27 June 2022 Kuwait

A 5.1 million dinar contract for the operation and "preventive" maintenance of all institute facilities over a three-year term is being floated by the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research.

The institute has reportedly submitted a request to float the tender and is awaiting formal clearances to begin the bidding process, according to a local Arabic newspaper.

KISR is regarded as a premier, autonomous, and highly esteemed national institution. In 1967, it was founded. The Institute's original mission was to develop three areas of the Institute of National Importance: petroleum, desert agriculture, and aquatic biology; however, this role has since expanded to encompass environmental conservation, sustainable management of natural resources, rational water and energy management, and the development of cutting-edge agricultural methods.
