Kipic Inaugurates Jaber Al-ahmad Bridge Coronavirus Vaccination Centre

Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC) announced the inauguration of the drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination center on the southern island of the Jaber Al-Ahmad Bridge.

In a statement to KUNA, KIPIC said that the Jaber Bridge vaccination center is one of the largest in the country, with an approximate area of 30,000 square meters, and a capacity to receive from 4,000 to 5,000 people per day.

The statement quoted the company’s official spokesperson, Abdullah Al-Ajmi, saying that KIPIC has started to establish the center in cooperation with the Kuwait Oil Company based on the decision of the Cabinet. He noted that the work was carried out at a maximum speed while maintaining the best quality in addition to ensuring the smooth movement of cars entry and exit to accelerate the pace of the vaccination process. Al-Ajmi also stressed the oil sector’s keenness, since the beginning of the outbreak of the epidemic, to consolidate all its resources and support the Kuwaiti authorities, especially those working in the health field, as an embodiment of its mission to serve the country.
