Kerala Express Restaurant Opened Its Doors At Olive Mart Building

The highly anticipated Kerala Express restaurant opened its doors at Olive Mart Building, Fahaheel in a ceremony witnessed by a large crowd. To mark the inauguration, a major gala evening was organized that was attended by dignitaries such as Thomas Joseph, Labour Attache, Embassy of India to Kuwait, Hamoud Al Fadli, Chairman, Thakkara Group of Restaurants, and Usman Haji, Managing Director, Halal Restaurants, London.

The theme of the restaurant centers on recreating the ambience and décor of a typical railway station and an Indian Railway car’s interior. The decor, ambience and visuals sweep you into a wonderful experience of dining at a railway platform in Kerala.

Also in attendance at the event was Padma Vibhushan Adoor Gopalakrishnan, the great Malayalm film director and other personalities like Surya Krishna Murthy, Director Surya Film Society, and Balu Kiriyath, Malayam Lyricist and Director.

Kerala Express offers a versatile menu filled with high quality, delectable and sensibly priced dishes that encompass the signature food items popular across the Southern Kerala. Visitors get to enjoy such wonderful cuisine while relaxing in a wholesome friendly atmosphere.

Top chefs with extensive culinary backgrounds in authentic Travancore cuisines have joined the Kerala Express team to prepare an array of food items that are unique in the State of Kuwait.

Kerala Express is a themed concept that is a joint venture of Thakkara Group and Holy Sweets, who have been in the Food & Beverage Industry for several years, with each controlling their individual brands like Thakkara Restaurants and Holy Sweets respectively, in different parts of Kuwait for several years.

The Kerala Express Restaurant is located at Fahaheel, Olive Mart Building (next to Green Towers), First Floor.
