Kd 5,000 Fine On Allowing Unvaccinated People To Enter Commercial Complexes

Head of the Violations Removal Department in the Jahra Governorate Municipality, Suleiman Al-Ghais, confirmed that the establishment would be fined KD 5,000 for violating the Cabinet’s decision to prevent non-vaccinated people from entering complexes, clubs, restaurants, and cafes, Al Qabas reported.

Al-Ghais said in a statement to the Kuwait News Agency that the entry to these facilities will be through after checking Kuwait mobile ID and Immunity applications.

He stressed that the responsibility rests with both parties, whether the facility or its visitors unless the facility proves that it has done everything necessary to implement the decision.

The supervisory teams of the municipality branch of the Ahmadi and Jahra governorates carried out inspection tours in the areas of the two governorates, to implement the Cabinet’s decision to prevent non-vaccinated people from entering commercial complexes, health clubs, salons, restaurants, and cafes, which entered into force today, Sunday.

For his part, the Director of the Audit and Follow-up Services Department at the Ahmadi branch, Saad Al-Shaiba, said in a press statement that these inspection tours are a continuation of the municipality’s tours of shops to ensure that they implement health requirements, to limit the spread of the new Coronavirus.

Al-Shaiba stressed that the supervisory teams work continuously throughout the day, and there are teams formed to monitor and follow up on the implementation of the Cabinet’s decision to prevent non-vaccinated people from entering commercial complexes, health clubs, salons, restaurants, and cafes.
