Kd 5,000 Fine And 3 Months Imprisonment For Those Who Break Home Quarantine Rule

According to Alrai media inevitability of adherence to the home quarantine decided by the Ministry of Health for those coming from abroad, and made it clear that in the event of non-compliance, the violator is referred to the judicial authorities.

The sources added that the violator is subject to the provisions of Paragraph 1 of Article 17 amended by Article 1 of Law No. 4 of 2020, and the penalty shall be imprisonment for a period not exceeding three months and a fine not exceeding five thousand dinars or one of these two penalties, considering the decisions regulating home quarantine from the decisions implementing the law No. 8 of 1969 regarding health precautions to prevent communicable diseases, and its amendments.

And it called upon everyone to adhere to the prescribed period of confinement in order to preserve the safety of the individual and society and to avoid the penalties stipulated in the relevant laws in this regard.
