Kd 2000 To Renew Work Permit For Those Above The Age Of 60 Years

The Public Authority for Manpower has banned the renewal of work permits, for those who have reached the age of 60 with only school degrees or below.

An official source in the authority revealed that a decision was issued to allow the renewal of work permits for those who have reached 60 years with high school diplomas or below, in return for paying an annual fee to the authority of KD  2000, Al Qabas reported.\

The source told the daily that the fee relates only to the value of the work permit renewal, excluding the value of the health insurance provided by the Ministry of Health for the 60-year-old category, which will be announced later.

He added, “The authority will announce the details of the decision that was agreed upon shortly before the authority’s board of directors.”
