Kd 136,000 Fine To Companies And Factories
The Public Relations Department in the Municipality confirmed that the Safety Department of the Ahmadi Municipality conducted a field tour of companies and factories in the south of the country to ensure safety and check on the validity of the licences, reports Al-Anba daily.
Acting Director of the Safety Department of the Municipality of Ahmadi Governorate, Khalid Al-Otaibi said the tour carried out by inspectors resulted in the issuance of citations worth KD 136,000 because a majority of the owners of these companies and factories had encroached on government land or were operating without licences.
The department has also issued 12 warnings during the inspection tour especially for those who discard construction debris in front of homes or establishments.
The Public Relations Department has called on owners of companies and factories to comply fully with the municipality regulations. The hotline number to receive any kinds of complaints is 139, which operates around the clock. The complaint can be filed also via municipality @kuwmun.
